The Wild Butterfly Woman

The Butterfly Woman

The Butterfly Maiden; she the wanton harlot of spring.

She is surely a magical creature: Always flaunting
her
colors of the rainbow - she so light and fragile
as she rides the breeze, yet she is strong enough
to withstand the storms and gales as she passes
through time until she enters her dream time
cocoon.

Chrysalis is a time of ripening and becoming:
Emerging from the chrysalis the Wild Butterfly
Woman, was empowered with insights to
complete her journey.

Today she is ancient and bent and soft in body'
she has blemishes and spots, and  silver
streaks on her hair.

She is so well-disguised
She appears more like an unpretentious
moth
than a butterfly. But she knows
who she is and knows what she must
do before she enters her last
chrysalis.

She gently drapes h
er queenly mantle of royalty
'round her maiden daughter and quietly shares
her secrets and her w
isdom - and the cycle of
transformation and rebirth begin anew.

The Wild Butterfly Woman knows her power,
her divinity: Now, she is forever part of the
myth and lore of creation; forever
touching hearts and souls.
